These terms govern new Rogue Review and How Mosaics Work purchases from John Sollinger, trading as Rogue Mosaics. They apply to cards, online wallets, payment links, invoices and any other payment method I accept. Earlier purchases retain the terms accepted when those purchases were made. A later change does not rewrite an existing order.

Your purchase
Before payment, I identify the service or book you are buying and show the complete price in the stated currency, including any applicable tax, shipping or other mandatory charge. Discounts and any conditions attached to them are disclosed before payment. There are no additional charges without your agreement.

Rogue Review
Submitting an intake form is free and does not commit you to a purchase. We agree on the works, your main question, the scope, the price, the delivery method and the expected delivery date before payment. For several works, the offer identifies whether it includes separate reviews, reviews with synthesis or another agreed scope.

You receive a written review addressing the agreed question and explaining the evidence behind the observations. Where useful and within the agreed scope, it may include marked images, practical tests, source links and relevant passages from How Mosaics Work. I do not promise a fixed page count unless our offer specifies one.

Submitted images limit what I can assess. I may ask for another photograph or information when lighting, angle, scale or image quality could change the answer. If missing information prevents completion, I explain what is needed and how it affects timing before proceeding. A material change in price, scope or timing requires your agreement.

Relevant artwork and case material are processed through ChatGPT for intake inspection and assisted analysis. The final review is checked by the human reviewer. The review informs your decisions; it does not guarantee greater sales, awards, a particular audience response or a particular artistic result.

The included follow-up allows one clarification question within seven calendar days after delivery. A new artwork or new review question may require a separately agreed service. Correction of an error or failure to supply the agreed service is handled under the Refund and Cancellation Policy and is not restricted to that clarification allowance.

Ownership and permissions
You retain ownership and copyright in your submitted artwork. You confirm that you created it or have permission to submit it. You allow only the processing needed to inspect the intake and perform the agreed service. Public display, teaching, promotion, reproduction in the Living book and optional internal improvement require their own separate permissions. Those choices are optional and start unchecked.

How Mosaics Work
The order identifies the edition and format being purchased. A digital purchase supplies the identified downloadable edition; it does not include a printed copy. Hardcover and softcover, when offered, are separate purchases unless a bundle expressly includes them.

The book remains a living project. Claims, examples and illustrations may change as evidence changes. I intend purchases to carry forward to later digital versions I release, but the arrangements for that access are still being finalized. Unless an offer expressly specifies a guaranteed update entitlement and its terms, the purchase includes the identified current edition. Printed replacements and later printed editions are not included unless expressly stated.

Delivery and delays
The agreed delivery method and expected timing are shown before payment. If I cannot meet them, I notify you and offer a revised date or cancellation with the refund described in the Refund and Cancellation Policy. You do not have to accept an open-ended delay. Delayed unshipped printed orders may be cancelled for a full refund of the affected items and their associated charges.

Your rights
These terms do not exclude rights or remedies that applicable law does not permit a business to waive. Agreement to these terms is not a waiver of rights concerning defects, misleading descriptions, unauthorized charges or non-delivery.
