Privacy and service processing
You may provide your name, contact information, artwork, questions, order details and other information needed for the service you request. I use it to inspect your intake, agree scope and price, process payment, provide and deliver the service, handle corrections and maintain necessary business records.
New Rogue Review submissions are inspected through ChatGPT before being surfaced to me when my attention is needed. Relevant artwork and case information may also be processed through ChatGPT to assist analysis. These services can make mistakes; the human reviewer checks the final review. Website hosting, email, payment and, for printed orders when offered, fulfillment providers process information needed for their functions under their own privacy and processing terms.
You retain ownership and copyright in your artwork. Your submitted artwork and case material are private by default. I do not sell them or your personal information. Public display, teaching, promotion, reproduction in the Living book and optional internal improvement require separate permissions. Leaving an optional permission unchecked does not prevent you from receiving a review. Permission for one use does not authorize another.
Submitted artwork and working case material are normally retained for up to 90 days after final delivery for clarification or correction, then removed from active working files unless you request longer retention or separately authorize continuing use. Administrative, payment, legal or security records may be retained longer when reasonably required. Service-provider records and backups remain subject to those providers' terms and retention practices.
You may request correction or deletion of available information, subject to records that must be retained for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may withdraw permission for future optional use; withdrawal does not necessarily recall material already lawfully distributed. Relevant records may be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary for security or protection of legal rights.
The website may collect technical or analytical information such as visited pages, approximate region, browser or device information and time spent on the site. Any optional newsletter or marketing choice is separate from purchase acknowledgment.
