Before you upload
Your images are part of the evidence for the review. Poor lighting, heavy cropping, filters, digital zoom or lens distortion can create effects that are not in the artwork, so send the clearest, least altered files you can.
For each work, when practical, send one full straight-on view, one closer detail if needed and one additional view that reveals surface, relief, layering, reflection or another important feature.
Use the original, highest-resolution files available. A phone camera is fine. Avoid beauty or enhancement filters, severe cropping, digital zoom and close ultra-wide views. If lighting or angle materially changes the work, include another lighting condition or an oblique view.
Up to 3 files per work may be uploaded. These will usually be still images. A short, steady video may replace one of the three when changing reflection, transparency, relief, movement or light cannot be shown adequately in a still image.
If you are unsure what to send, submit what you have. I may ask for another image, view or detail before the review proceeds.
